For all registered patients ( registration is FREE and there are no hidden charges ) the check-up fee will always be £40 and all nomimal x-rays and computer images are included in that price. If you have children you will save even more. All kids check ups are FREE and any routine kids treatments are discounted by 50%. This offer applies to all children under the age of 16yrs.

The check up will allow the dentist to note important descrepanices in perodontal care (hygiene), broken fillings, loose teeth, any obvious signs of decay. The dentist will also be screening the mouth for any signs of oral cancer.

The check up will also allow the dentist to give the patient different options for any problems that may have been highlighted, including any pros and cons and cost implications.

For example, a front tooth may require extraction. The varoius treatments would be:

1. Do nothing at all ( This can be an option for patients if the extraction is for a tooth at the back of the mouth)

2. A partial denture. This can be a relativley inexpensive treatment option, but some patients may find a denture irrataiting.

3. Bridge work. This is ideal if the teeth next door to the extracted tooth have fillings. The cost of this procedure will vary depending on the extent of the bridge work.

4. Implants. This involves a titanium screw being placed into the jaw bone and a crown being fixed to the screw.
